Norwegian wild reindeer centre pavilion by Snøhetta

The Norwegian wild reindeer centre pavilion is located in Dovre, Norway in the Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella national park. The designers are the Oslo based Snøhetta who has been shortlisted by the World architecture festival for an award in the display category with this project. The pavilion is only 90 square meter, and  1200 meters above sea level.

The pavilion constructed with Norwegian shipbuilding techniques. The wooden wall was made of 25 cm square pine wooden beams what were milled and assembled with pegs.
