Branding design for Forces of Nature exhibition by English designer Jonathan Finch.
“The identity developed for this event was subtle and minimal alluding to the fact that these forces are often hidden from view. The folded sheets of paper then create more dramatic shapes and shadows that attempt to convey the immense power of such forces of nature that is experienced upon their occurrence. The types of folds used across the promotional material are also intended to communicate some particular forces such as earthquakes and tsunamis. The 3D folded sheets were then photographed and digitally printed to create an illusion of depth and applied across the different printed resolutions.”
